Venice Beach

What a doggy morning. Sky is so gloomy I could barely see the sun, but only to feel it’s heat between lumpy clouds. Yet, this doesn’t seem to stop the determine surfers in Venice Beach, LA. Neither did it stop the coffee addicts who frequent Groundworks on Rose Ave. I stopped by this morning to get some Chai Latte. They certainly lived up to their reviews. It was fragrantly spiced and lightly sweeten. Morning vibe was immense despite being a Sunday, but people were friendly and so amiable.

Popped by Seed Kitchen after that and met Eric, the owner. Always a pleasure meeting another dedicated holistic chef/business owner. More to say, the place has such a delightful ambience. Simple wooden tables and benches, rustic art deco, high ceilings and fantastic for people watching. Only had a berry scone, which as effortless as it sounds, was fresh, light-hearted and absolutely ready-for-summer. Definitely will be back for more food.
