co+op, nasi lemak

Sorry for the absence! Over the past couple of weeks, I’ve been helping a friend start of a local business. CO+OP, nasi lemak is a small but dynamic coffee shop selling local nasi lemak (coconut rice), delightful malay/chinese/peranakan dishes and authentic coffee.

Their coffee grounds derived from a local coffee supplier, Lam Yeo Coffee Powder which has been around for the past 3 generations. Made in an old fashion way, where the coffee is sifted through hot water many times to attain it’s full robust flavors and served in a heated coffee cup.

You know how much I love local food, wherever I go. More photos to come!
